I put my camera on a very long timer today and just gave myself some time to be. I love how this shot turned out. It feels totally natural to me. And beautiful … ❤

{{Wondering what’s going on here?? Almost a year ago, I found myself on bad terms with the person in the mirror. So I made a commitment: every day for forty days, I’d take *one* photograph of my body that I could honestly see as beautiful. Want to follow my journey? Start here.}}
I know photography is really not the point in this series, but you do have a good eye for capturing images, even when your eye is not behind the camera.

Thank you, Joseph … A high compliment, from you. I think the best photographs are honest … maybe a little more honest than our own eyes tend to be, in ordinary life. And I like this shot because it feels honest. I’m glad you enjoyed it, too. 🙂

This is breathtaking…and print-worthy. Put this in a frame NOW…somewhere you can see it daily!!

Thank you lady! Believe it or not, I’ve been making a gallery wall in my bedroom, and I plan to put a few photos in there. At first it seemed like a silly/self absorbed thing to do, but now it just feels right. Thanks for encouraging me! 🙂

Well, thank you, David. It happened so very naturally, and with very little fancy technology, which makes me like it more. Appreciate your encouragement! 🙂
