Same Body, Second Glance: Day Five

July 5, 2014

day5

I took some braver images today, but this shot – a safer one – was the part of myself that I was ready to honestly see as beautiful.  What I love about this project is that it charges me with the difficult task of being true to myself, the person I am right now, at this moment.  I am grateful for the beauty I am capable of seeing today, and filled with hope that I might be capable of seeing even more tomorrow.  This is self-acceptance … and also, faith.  The link between the two has never felt quite as clear as it does in my soul today.
